With nothing else on the employment horizon, I thought about what to do come September. I decided to head home to Vancouver for a while, and then come back to Toronto eventually to look for work.
You can use your network for a variety of things: to keep in touch, to learn more about careers, to seek out employment opportunities, or even to fundraise for a good cause. Here are some tips on how to network successfully before, during and after formal networking events.
When I first heard about it, I was excited that something like this existed because it is a great opportunity to meet people, contribute to the community, learn a lot and make the transition from being heavily involved on-campus to the greater community.
